iFilm English TV to air finale of ‘The Lady General’

iFilm English TV Channel has set to air the final episode of the series ‘The Lady General’ on Saturday night.

The final episode of the series, produced by Saeed Moradi and directed by Parviz Sheikh-Tadi, will be aired on November 6, 2021, at 21:00 GMT.

Co-written by Sheikh-Tadi, Ehsan Azimi, and Somayyeh Tajik, the series tells the story of Bibi Maryam, the Khan of the Bakhtiari Tribe, who takes a stand against the corruption and tyranny of statesmen who are plundering the poor peasants and letting the British and Russians loot the nation. Surrounded by traitors and hypocrites, she has to do what is best for her people.

The cast of the series includes Ammar Tafti, Habib Dehqan-Nasab, Farrokh Nemati, Soheila Razavi, and Pantea Sirous.

‘The Lady General’, made in 2019, will be replaced by the first season of ‘Setayesh’ series at the helm of Saeed Soltani.
